Clarkston, GA has been known to attract more short-term interest than any other mission field. However, many short-termers come and go a leave little more than food and clothing. What is needed from short-termers (teams, vols. and workers) are works that can be followed up on or continued at their departure. Kaleidoscopic Call's aim is to use volunteers and teams to aide existing ethnic churches where we can strengthen an existing local body that will remain.
Harp's Crossing Baptist Church in Fayetfville, GA has been coming for several years and working to strengthen local bodies of believers. In June a team of youth and adults worked with a new Gospel Believers Ethiopian Church and left a huge impact that will remain.

Students took the time to work with Pastor Chernet Hadbacho and other leaders to visit unchurched Ethiopians, evangelize, and create new contacts for the church.
As a result of the trip nearly house visited by the teams showed up in church and has been undergoing assimilation and baptism training from Pastor Chernet.
Besides house visitations the team engaged in prayer walking, sharing a meal to support a new believer's business, leading in worship, volunteering at B and C Farms, and visiting a local temple to gain perspective on the depth of lostness in the community.
KSC thanks Harp's Crossing Baptist for it's partnership through the years and works continuously to see that no effort is wasted.
