At Kaleidoscopic Call we see new ways of planting churches that result in less dependency and more reproducibility. Several years after returning to Liberia, West Africa; Jimmy Gargar and a team from KSC Call worked to establish two farms in some of Liberia's most unreached areas. The goal: to create a perpetual income for church planting, support the local pastor, provide jobs and open door ways into community.
With the help of the KSC Call network, Gargar and pastor James Chorseo were blessed with a machine to press cassava into a flour called gari. After a year of labor and production, Pastor James is able to purchase his own material for building his own church and guest house. Absent of dependability from outside funding, Jimmy and Pastor James are now training others in the Greater Love Church network how to do the same! This model of church planting allows for self-sustainment and ownership of ministry. Our hope is to see this kind of work spread through out our areas of global church planting.
